1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you (the customer) and VoyHaven (trading name of VoyHaven, a sole trader registered in England). By making a booking with VoyHaven, you agree to be bound by these terms.
VoyHaven is a member of the ABTA, which provides financial protection for your holiday.
2. Your Contract With Us
A binding contract between you and VoyHaven is formed when we issue a written confirmation of your booking and you have paid the required deposit. The contract is subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
The lead passenger (the person making the booking) must be at least 18 years of age and accepts these terms on behalf of all members of the travelling party.
3. Pricing and Payment
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost is required at the time of booking to secure your holiday.
Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 12 weeks (84 days) before your departure date. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of your deposit.
Price Variations
VoyHaven reserves the right to revise prices after booking in the event of changes to transportation costs, fuel surcharges, taxes, or exchange rates. We will notify you of any price increase and you have the right to cancel without penalty if the increase exceeds 8% of the total package price.
4. Cancellation by You
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing to contactus@voyheaven.co.uk. Cancellation charges apply as follows, based on number of days before departure:
- More than 84 days: Loss of deposit only
- 57–84 days: 30% of total holiday cost
- 29–56 days: 50% of total holiday cost
- 15–28 days: 70% of total holiday cost
- 0–14 days: 100% of total holiday cost
We strongly recommend you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover cancellation costs.
5. Cancellation or Changes by VoyHaven
In the unlikely event that we need to make significant changes to or cancel your holiday before departure, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the choice of:
- Accepting the changed arrangements
- Transferring to an alternative holiday of equivalent or higher quality
- A full refund of all monies paid
Compensation may also be payable depending on the timing of notification, as required under the Package Travel Regulations 2018.
6. Financial Protection
VoyHaven is a member of the ABTA. All monies paid to VoyHaven are held in a Trust Account and are fully protected. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, your money is safe and your holiday will be protected.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all customers take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Your insurance should cover cancellation, medical expenses, personal liability, and any activities you plan to undertake. VoyHaven accepts no liability for costs that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance.
8. Passports, Visas and Health Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party hold valid passports, any required visas, and meet all health requirements for your destination. VoyHaven accepts no responsibility for any costs or losses arising from failure to meet these requirements.
9. Complaints
If you experience any problems during your holiday, please report them immediately to the relevant supplier (hotel, airline etc.) and contact us at contactus@voyheaven.co.uk. Please see our Complaints Policy for full details on how to raise a complaint.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
